Hi my name is Emma Bergman. I started playing softball when I was eight years old, I instantly fell in love with the game. When most people were dreading the cold, rainy spring I would look forward to it. I was a four-year varsity starter for Oak Harbor under Coach Chris Rawski. During that time, I accomplished many goals and learned so much about the game. I ended my high school softball career by making it to Regional Finals, which set a school record. My love for the game continued, which is why I decided to continue my career at Division II, Ohio Dominican University, where I am working towards a degree in Chemistry to eventually attend Dental School.
Growing up it was always my goal to play collegiate softball and with the help of many people, I improved my game and was able to achieve my goal. Even now as a current player I am always learning and working on improving my game. That is why I cannot wait to pass on my knowledge of the game to many other young girls that hope to accomplish the same dream I had growing up and want to keep improving their softball skills.
